The Comic Zone: A sure-fire solution for our economy

http://www.clarkforkchronicle.com/article.php/20110306225034239
by Parris ja Young

Let’s face it, all that money spent on Social Security, for example, could be much better spent for another bomb, for ammunition and more agile and faster fighter jets in foreign lands to defend our way of life, and for better surveillance instruments here at home. Besides, old people are no longer productive; they don’t work and they’ve already reproduced. They require caretakers who could be serving in other ways. It would be far cheaper and more humane just to let them die quietly. And besides, the way social security is set up, the financial forces of our great country will not make money until the system is privatized properly.

Reflections

How dare anyone blame the orgy of capitalist excess we witnessed in the latter half of the first decade of the third millennium of the birth of brother Jesus, upon the heads of the children needing an education, the vulnerable adults who are the Leviathan’s prey, the sick among us, the gutter trash among us, the junkies, the mentally ill on Social Security, the elderly whose aged bodies hold fine minds and a mighty big heart, and a lofty pen, a man like Parris ja Young, who doth now whisper of the Truth.

LAW: Universal Sales Tax

Friday, March 4th, 2011

Let there be passed into Law a universal sales tax on all goods and services sold to, in, or from humans and non-human entities located in the Unites States. Let it be collected at the federal level and apportioned back to the states in proportion to their population of citizens. Let us set the rate at 10% and when government deficit is at zero lower the tax rate down no lower than 3%. Please copy-paste if you like.

Whom or What Do I Blame

Monday, February 21st, 2011

20110221 Whom or What Do I Blame? I blame the bankers for their RootOfAllEvil (money) greed demonstrating why unfettered capitalism is a failure. The proof of this assertion is now being masked by the drone of the revisionist historian talking heads of television. I blame the RootOfAllEvil bankers and their “innocent” co-conspirators high placed in government who failed to act in the best interests of humanity…you heard it first in the United States…RootOfAllEvil Greed is “too big to fail”. What evil forces were at play in government in those days?

I blame the fascist corporations arising as the Leviathans of politics and squashing out the little guy’s voice in politics…all THEY want is young and old human ears and eyes locked onto the commercial drone of television and bodies marching en-mass into far flung retail outlets and voting booths…affirmed by the Supreme Court…Leviathan money speech places politics out of the reach of mere mortals…be too poor and watch your life be crushed by the Leviathans if you make these non-human beings cross and angry with a mere mortal human…I smell the brewing of a Constitutional Amendment…sooner rather than later.

It seems to this writer that purveying RootOfAllEvil greed ought to be illegal, as a matter of common law understanding of good and evil. What is not apparent is why more of these corporation protected schemers have not landed in jail and are not doing a few years in prison. Perhaps RootOfAllEvil money has something to do with the matter.

The 2012 Newland Amendment

Article I

Humans who operate non-human entities shall go to jail if they conspire in matters of RootOfAllEvil greed wherein any single human is injured for more than the average monetary value of one hour of labor, according to the labor market of the place.

Article II

The only rights afforded unto non-human beings and Leviathans are those specifically enumerated in the Constitutions and Laws of the States comprising the United States of America. Unto the Supremes of the Court be it hereby noted that The Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America shall pertain only to humans.

Article III

a) The Federal Income Tax upon humans is repealed and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where is may rest in hell for one thousand years. More evil done in the name of good has been raised by the Federal Income Tax upon humans. It shall be replaced by one Universal Sales Tax on ALL retail transactions at the Retail Transaction Rate AND wholesale transactions at the Intermediate Transaction Rate, without exception even for charities. The RootOfAllEvil lives in the exceptions. Therefore, there are no exceptions. Period. Not for religion. Not for government. Not for medicine. Not for the rich. Not for the poor. Not for interstate commerce. Not for international commerce. Not for goods of any kind. Not for services of any kind. Not for mineral royalties or royalties of any kind. Not for business costs of any kind. Not even for money flows of humanitarian aid. NO EXCEPTIONS. The Universal Sales Tax pays for EVERYTHING the federal government does. All Universal Sales Tax transactions must be reported to registered and lawful human citizens of the United States by means of Internet streaming of geographic transactions. Non-human beings shall be denied access to the Universal Sales Tax transaction details.

b) Effective immediately the Retail Transaction Rate and the Intermediate Transaction Rate shall be set at a rate sufficient to reduce to zero the National Debt by the year 2020. All government budgets shall remain in balance thereafter. For example, in modeling let us assume the Retail Transaction Rate is set at 0% and the Intermediate Transaction Rate is set at 3⅓% and see what happens to prices. The Intermediate Rate is much easier to enforce because it pertains to the non-human beings, including a church, a charity, a sole proprietor businesses and a multinational Leviathan.

c) Human time investments are not taxable transactions.

Public Health Nurse Corps

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

I support the creation of the Public Health Nurse Corps (CORPS). The CORPS recruits eighteen to twenty-one year old men and women who have graduated from High School and are willing to sign a contract making them a VOLUNTEER in the CORPS.

A VOLUNTEER receives a two year education. Tuition and books are paid for by the CORPS. Additional income may be earned in various on-the-job work experiences in nursing homes, in home health care situations, hospice care, community service, Meals on Wheels delivery, and so forth. Upon graduation that VOLUNTEER works two years full-time in some local community public health care facility, nursing home, and so forth. At the completion of this four year duty cycle the VOLUNTEER enters the regular workforce debt free (of their CORP education).

A VOLUNTEER may then re-enlist for another four year duty cycle (two more years education and two more years full-time work) in the Public Health Nurse Corps.

Public Health

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

It is a given that humans of financial means must be permitted to purchase private health care that supplements their public health care. I am for freely accessible public health care services, provided primarily by means of Public Health Care Nurse Corps workers whose education is paid for by the Corps in return for some number of years serving in community walk-in free clinics, hospitals, and so forth. In addition to their education, Nurse Corps workers must receive an equitable salary for their time in service to their home community.

I am in support of eliminating health care malpractice lawsuits and subjecting the health care provider community to a government run investigation of all reports of health care service malfeasance, with nationwide lifetime withdrawal of license upon first major conviction. There must exist an interstate health care worker provider licensing computer system keeping track of who is licensed to practice, their current certificates of competency, and so forth. Such information must be freely accessible upon the Internet.

I am for these changes and all they entail because I am of the generation who saw their personal retirement wealth stolen by greedy bankers…not once but thrice. It is time to prepare and train the health care workers who will provide for the long-term humane health care needs of the post-World War II generation. Otherwise, your parents and grandparents will be made to suffer or, as an alternative, have their pockets picked clean by the insurance companies as in the current Law.
